FIRST dances FOR WEDDINGS:

  • St Bernard's Waltz - a lovely,  easy-to-learn waltz which can be danced with just one, or multiple couples
  • The Rozsa - another lovely waltz. It's a little more intimate than the St Bernard's Waltz, with a 'sweetheart' hold part way through. 
  • Virginia Reel - an easy-to-learn couples dance which involves the top couple making an arch (a good first dance photo opportunity!)
  • Gay Gordons - a common first dance for Scottish weddings. This can start with just one, or multiple couples​
  • The Snowball  (starts with one couple, with other couples joining in as the dance progresses)
  • Cumberland Reel (a good first dance for couples who don't want to start alone)
  • Military Two-Step
